1. What We Collect
When you use UCF FlowEngine, we collect:
- Contact information: email address and name, provided through Stripe checkout
- Case files: OpenFOAM case bundles (.zip) that you upload for validation or converge runs
- Payment metadata: transaction IDs, amounts, timestamps, and payment status (via Stripe)
- Technical data: IP address, user agent, and page views (collected by Cloudflare)
We never receive or store your full card number. All card data is handled directly by Stripe.
2. How We Use Your Data
- Provide the service: validate your cases, execute converge runs, generate evidence packs
- Process payments: manage billing through Stripe
- Status updates: provide run and validation status through the site
- Improve the platform: analyze usage patterns to improve reliability and performance
- Prevent fraud: detect and prevent abuse of the service
3. What We Store and Where
Case files and evidence packs are stored on US-based infrastructure operated by UCF FlowEngine LLC.
Payment and billing records are stored in our database. Stripe handles all card data and payment processing per their own privacy policy.
Case files and evidence packs are stored on US-based infrastructure. Some service providers (such as Cloudflare) may process technical data globally to provide security and performance.
4. Data Retention
- Case data and evidence packs: retained for 90 days from the date of creation. You can download your artifacts at any time during this period.
- Metadata (run IDs, timestamps, hashes, billing records): retained beyond the 90-day period for audit, fraud prevention, and service improvement. We may retain certain billing records as required by law.
- Stripe retains payment data per their own retention policy.
You can request data export during the 90-day retention window by contacting support@ucfflowengine.com.
5. Third Parties
We use the following third-party services:
- Stripe acts as our payment processor. Stripe's privacy policy governs how card data is processed and stored.
- Cloudflare provides CDN, DNS, security, and Web Analytics. Cloudflare may process IP address, user agent, and page view data for these purposes.
We do not share your data with any other third parties except as required by law.
6. Cookies and Analytics
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics (beacon script) to measure basic site traffic. Cloudflare may set limited cookies or identifiers for security and analytics purposes.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request data export during the 90-day retention period
- Request deletion of your case files and associated data
- Correct inaccuracies in your account information

We may update this privacy policy. Changes take effect 30 days after posting on this page. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
